I found DOSE Running just over 2 years ago towards the end of high school. I have always wanted to join a running group and was pointed towards other clubs which had more of a focus on competition which I did not want.
I wanted to join a club that was fun and challenging without a focus on winning and competition and I came across DOSE Running.
Scarlett is an amazing coach and a lovely person and has encouraged me through many challenges in my running journey.
The adult recreational sessions are the highlight of my week and I look forward to running with a group of people who are always up for a good chat and love running as much as I do, without the focus being only on competitions. Ever since joining DOSE Running I don’t enjoy running alone anymore because running with a group is just so much more enjoyable!

DOSE Running has been the most transformative experience for my running. Before finding DOSE I always ending up injured leading up to events and never able to sustain long term running. Scarlett Duncan and her team have taken a me from a one event a year runner to doing 4 Half Marathons and a Marathon in the last year. Best of all is the commitment to making the training sessions suit many levels. We all are trying our best to improve, but we don’t all run at the same pace. It’s the sense of community and support for each other that really sets DOSE Running apart. If you want to enjoy your running I highly recommend giving DOSE a go.

I have just completed my first programme with Dose and completed a trail Half Ultra marathon!
I was runner before joining DOSE, but Scarlett has taught me so much about improving my running technique, pace and distance.
Best of all, the group is very social, friendly and supportive, and there are runners doing distances from 5km to Ultra Marathons!
Scarlett has been available any time if I need support or guidance, and extremely supportive and inspiring. Highly recommended for all running abilities!

I had been running on my own for about 12 months before signing up to the 8-week DOSE Running & Pilates program.
I only ever ran once or twice a week and never any longer than 5km. My goal with DOSE Running was to run 10km – I didn’t actually think I would achieve this but figured if I improved my pace and at least ran a bit further than 5km I would be happy.
To my complete surprise I ran (albeit a very slow!) 10km after just 3 weeks on the program.
By the end of the 8 week program I had run 10km four times and shaved over 5 minutes off my initial 10km – something I never thought I would be able to do.
What makes this program so enjoyable is not just Scarlett’s constant encouragement and support, but the amazing group of fellow runners (of all levels) who have been so inclusive and supportive.
I am most definitely hooked!

DOSE running has had a tremendously positive impact on me these past few months.
In March, I approached Scarlett and told her that I wanted to do a Marathon. At this stage, I couldn’t even run 5km. As of last week, myself and three others are Marathon finishers!
Scarlett, through the DOSE program, has helped us all achieve our goals – first 10km, then 20k, lastly the Marathon.
Now she is guiding us onto our first Ultra. I could not recommend a more caring and invested coach.
She was truly there for us every step of the way (literally 😂).
Her genuine approach to people and their specific needs is remarkable, and is evident in the individually tailored DOSE programs.
Give it a go, your only regret will be not having started sooner!

I recently completed the DOSE Running & Pilates Online 8 Week Program and absolutely loved it!
As a mother of 2 children under 3 I really wanted to get back into my running post pregnancy and this was just the kickstart I needed.
I did my 10km virtual run in a time I never could have achieved without the program, which was the longest and fastest run I’ve done since having children and had zero pain or injury.
I also live in a remote rural area and the program was super straightforward and easy to complete on my own (without attending any of the DOSE Running sessions).
I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Scarlett of DOSE running is an absolute running sensei.
I’m a rock/mountain climber but haven’t been able to run pain free for years due to various injuries.
After a private session with Scarlett and the DOSE ‘return-to-run’ pilates and running program, my running was back!
Despite gingerly jumping back into running in August (and Scarlett advising against this plan ;)), I managed to complete a 50-mile race just three months later. Thank you, Sensei Scarlett!
